Social Work & Counseling

Hannah Sher, LCSW, has been working in education for a decade, and this is her fourth year at Dailey. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in education, she then taught high school social studies before deciding to return to school to get her Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin, specializing in school social work.

She has worked in AISD and at charter schools before coming to DVISD. Ms. Sher loves working with middle school students due to it being a unique, formative time in their lives. Ms. Sher also loves her rescue dog, reading, hiking, baking, and going out to new restaurants in Austin.

Jesse grew up in South Texas enjoying the outdoors and fishing the Laguna Madre. In his free time he relaxes by working in the yard, grilling, and attending Texas football games. He has worked in the past as a school counselor in Taylor, Pflugerville, and Manor.

Jesse enjoys working with the faculty and appreciates the support of the administration in serving our students.
